The office staff, are friendly and knowledgeable. The housekeeping staff are all that you could ever desire. Everything from the spacious parking lot to the nicely maintained interior make it a wonderful choice while traveling or sightseeing, and the breakfast is worth staying for.
I stayed in the "honeymoon suite" with the heart shaped hot tub in the room. Overall, I was very satisfied. The room itself was very cozy, with the unexpected addition of an in-room gas fireplace to give it a super cozy feel. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub was all I expected and more (it can fit two easily-I think three would fit comfortably actually). The hot breakfast in the morning was fantastic.
I stayed here with both of my boys a while ago. It was economical, clean, and quiet, with A GREAT BREAKFAST!! French toast, waffles, sausages, cinnamon buns, OJ.. HOLY SMOKES!! It was the best breakfast we've ever had at a motel, bar none!! 5 out of 5 stars!!
The only complaint I would have is that the room could get very noisy at times. We were next to the staircase, and that got very loud in the morning and evening, plus I could very clearly hear the TV playing in the next room, and loud snoring from I don't even know where. Other than that, though, it was fantastic, and I absolutely would return.
Very nice room and good accommodations. Good location to visit Tahquamenon Falls. Breakfast had a good selection. Was disappointed that the hot tub and sauna was out of order.
The Quality Choice Hotel in Newberry, Michigan is a wonderful place to stay.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Comfortable beds with multiple pillows. Good breakfast with choices for everyone. Large hot tub and sauna, no pool. Inviting areas to sit and relax. Loved the moose art and photos.
