gentleman at shop was very helpful to us on our visit in October of 2016. For us being to out of owners with no clue of anything we found him full of information and if I'm ever in the UP again I hope he's still around for me to use his vast knowledge of the area. I found prices in his shop to be fair especially in such remote settings, and left with a steal head rod and reel combo and line. my only regret is that I should have went ahead and bought the maps he was pointing out his favorite lakes spots on.

Great little shop with tons of fishing & hunting/outdoors supplies. Owner is very knowledgeable about the best spots for fishing in the area.
